By: Bill Osborne
Date: 27/06/2006

GRAHAM Rodger said today that he has made the signing of a stopper his number one priority and that he was is in talks with an unnamed Championship goalkeeper about a possible move to Blundell Park.

Rodger told Mariners net; "It was important to get the first new signing on the board, but I think that it is now important that we get a keeper on board."

On the appointment of his number two, Rodger said: "I am working on it and there are a few irons in the fire. That's gone slightly on the back burner at the moment while I concentrate on getting players in."
