Fishy Verdict:Filling the boots of Steve Mildenhall was always going to be a difficult task for Barnes, given the dependability of his predecessor. He has had a somewhat difficult start to his career at Town. The Mariners have conceded goals left, right and centre, and Barnes has looked unconvincing at times, especially in coming off his line. However, he has given some steadier performances of late, including an excellent game away at Chester and a fantastic penalty save against Stockport at Blundell Park.
