GRIMSBY Town players are sampling RAF service at their boot camp which kicked off at 06.00 today at RAF Honington in Suffolk after arriving at the camp on Sunday morning.

Mariners Net reports: The Town players were woken up shortly after 6am this morning for breakfast, which was followed by a military-style physical training session. They were then issued with kit and receive a briefing.

Other activities throughout the week include swimming, boxing, gym work and an assault course.

There will also be a series of military activities. The base is home to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear regiments and some of the sessions will reflect that area of expertise.
