Fishy:
Tell us a bit about yourself.

Paul:
I moved to Melbourne Australia in February 2006, I am 42 years old and work as a soccer coach here.

Fishy:
When did you first start supporting the Mariners, and what was your first game?

Paul:
The 3 - 0 win over Exeter City in the 71/72 season, Matt Tees 2, and Mike Hickman scored.

Fishy:
Who is the best player you ever saw wearing a Grimsby Town shirt?

Paul:
Joe Waters

Fishy:
If there is one game you were allowed to go back in time and watch what would it be and why?

Paul:
The win at Liverpool in the cup, the wonder strike by Phil Jevons will live with me forever and the atmosphere.

Fishy:
What are your favourite and least favourite away grounds?

Paul:
Favourite is Newcastle United, best atmosphere anywhere in the UK.
Least favourite is Halifax United, a dump with no fans.

Fishy:
What, in your opinion, are GTFC's best and worst seasons since you have been supporting them?

Paul:
Best season has to be the two Wembley appearances
The worst for me was the Mike Lyons era.

Fishy:
What is the most eventful day you have ever had in the course of following the Mariners?

Paul:
Went down to Millwall in the 80's, and we got to within half hour of the ground and the game got called off, so we all grabbed a newspaper to see who was playing in London, we ended up at Orient FC. V Charlton.

Fishy:
What is the strangest thing you have ever done at a game?

Paul:
Attempted to start a Mexican wave

Fishy:
What is the worst game you've ever been to?

Paul:
Defeat away to Scunthorpe in 2004-2005, the players just lost their heads that day and cost us the game.

Fishy:
What's the most amusing chant you've heard at a game?

Paul:
Liverpool away 79/80 season FA cup 3rd round, the Kop started giving their players fishy surnames i.e. Kenny Dogfish, [ dalgish ] Phillip Eel, [ neal ] Jimmy Plaice [ case ] you cannot beat scouse humour.

Who is the greatest ever GTFC manager?

Paul:
Alan Buckley

Fishy:
How many games a season do you get to now, and what do you do while Town are playing games that you can't get to?

Paul:
With me living down under, I tune into radio sports shows in the UK via the Internet. Usually at 0300am.

Fishy:
Name your all-time starting eleven since you have been watching Town?

Paul:
Nigel Batch, John McDermott, Bob Cummings, Paul Futcher, Andy Todd. Jack Lewis, Joe Waters, John Cockerill, Dave Boylen. Clive Mendonca, Kevin Drinkell.
