Steven Kabba

Came to Blundell Park on loan during the 02/03 season from Crystal Palace, where he had been rotting in the reserves. Kabba was a revelation, and combined with Flash 'Meccano Man' Mansaram to devastating effect in his home debut against Ipswich. On a cold Tuesday night with a patched up back line, nobody expected a 3-0 and Kabba quickly became a fans' favourite.

He expressed an interest in staying at Town beyond the loan spell, but due to his electrifying form Crystal Palace recalled him stating that he was needed for their first team, before selling him a couple of days later to Sheff Utd for £250K.

Was recently signed by Aidy Boothroyd at Watford, but Boothroyd later stated that he 'didn't fit their style of play', so he likes the ball on the deck then!
