GRIMSBY fish giant Young's have extended their sponsorship of the Mariners for a fifth consecutive year, and Town's shirts will continue to feature the world-famous logo.

Dave Roberts, the finance director of Grimsby's biggest employer, told the Grimsby Telegraph: "We are delighted that there have been several notable occasions during the past four seasons when the team has come up with the goods and given us massive national exposure."

Mr Roberts highlighted the Tottenham and Newcastle games and the two final appearances at the Millennium Stadium and the new Wembley as particular highlights of their reign.

Mr Roberts added: "We hope that we can have more success next season and, hopefully, a promotion to go with it."

Grim Rob Says: I like wearing the Young's logo, I never really felt comfortable with Jarvis blazoned across my chest and I think it's something the away fans can relate to as well with the associations of fish.
