GRIMSBY will continue to rest injured trio Nick Colgan (thigh), Joe Widdowson (hip) and Adrian Forbes (knee) for Saturday's final friendly game at Winterton. Mike Newell is to rest all three players in the hope that they will be fit in time for the season's opener at Cheltenham.

That means young 'keeper Leigh Overton will continue between the sticks for Town.

Town have released trialist Nathan Arnold, despite the former Mansfield midfielder having done well for Town in the pre-season tournament in Devon. Another Town target who won't be coming to Blundell Park is Luton full back Lewis Emanuel, who has opted to stay at Kenilworth Road.
