Town Sign Scunny 'Keeper

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 01/09/2009

SCUNTHORPE 'keeper Josh Lillis has joined Town on loan for a month as cover for the injured Nick Colgan. Southampton 'keeper Tommy Forecast had been signed on loan but has not been a success, and Lillis will take his place.

Unlike Forecast, the 22-year-old has at least played some first team games, having featured between the sticks on 17 occasions for the Iron over the course of the last three years

Lillis also spent a month on loan with Notts County last season where he played five games for the Magpies (before they became rich).

Nick Colgan has a groin injury but is expected to be back in around a fortnight.
