Grimsby Town are Too Nice

I FEEL that I must put down in words my thoughts on the demise of the Grimsby Town that I have supported since I was 7 years old. First we have a council that has never supported the club, I refer to the debacle that has been the new ground.
When GTFC put the application forward over 10 years ago the council should have just said go for it lads and build it, but no the spineless councillors dilly and dally about and listen to a small minority who opposed the scheme.
This was the first kick in the teeth for the club. Another factor that has helped in the demise of our great club is the fact that we as a club are too soft and nice and allow other clubs to ride rough shod over us, who ever said crooks do not prosper? Just ask Notts County, MK Dons, and now Crawley - they push it beyond the rules and get away with it, we just sit back and allow it to happen. Why don't we take a leaf out of their book?
Another point I would like to raise is we are playing like girls on the field. Teams come here and bully us, and we don't respond in kind. We do not resort to professionalism like all other teams, a prime example when we do manage to put teams under pressure they resort to delaying tactics and disruptive tactics like having a player go down as if injured just to break up the flow of the game and give themselves a breather so they can regroup.
We as a club have got to wise up and be ruthless and bullying both on and off the field otherwise we will be at this level for the foreseeable future. Neil woods has to be more aggressive and stop having the nice guy persona. Look at Neil Warnock, he is a thug and I personallly don't care for the guy but his teams are aggressive and tough and always do well and where is his team now? Top of their respective division. We need to get tough now and not be bullied we should try to bully the opposition.
Last point - in the last 2 seasons we have played 92 league games and won only 18. This defeatist frame of mind has to be shaken out of the whole club from top to the bottom and quickly it won't happen overnight but it has to be sooner rather than later. >
