Hearn is September Player of the Month

LIAM Hearn was the Fishy readers' Player of the Month in September. Over 1000 individual ratings were awarded in the month, and the table below shows the average of those players featuring in 4 or more games. New signing Jamie Green came second, and last month's winner Rob Duffy came third.

With Hearn's four-goal blitz on Saturday falling in October, the ratings exclude the game against Alfreton. The ratings in general are all up on last month when Duffy came first with a score of 6.0. Even Elding who is last in the table has improved massively upon his previous score of 3.8.

10	Perfection. Please use this rating lightly.
9	The player had a brilliant game i.e. he can't have put a foot wrong all match.
8	The player performed superbly, setting up goals, scoring goals, making match-winning tackles etc.
7	The player played to a very high standard indeed having been influential throughout the 90 minutes.
6	The player had a very good game overall but could be forgiven for making one or two minor mistakes.
5	The player had an average game but at the same time played well in patches and may have had an impact on the final score.
4	The player showed little effort and was probably invisible for most of the match.
3	This player shouldn't be playing in the near future.
