Simon Ford
Squad Number:16
Height:6.0
Weight:N/K
Date of birth:17/11/1981
Place of birth:Forestgate
Position:Defender
Nationality:English
Transfer Fee:Free
Signed:28/07/2012
Previous Clubs:Charlton
Bristol R
Redbridge
Kilmarnock
Chesterfield
Target:Prove himself as more than just a prospect. Do what Handyside did last time we were in Div II; cement his reputation as too good a footballer for this division and put the donkey-defenders to shame. Alternatively, become a full back ;-)
Fishy Verdict:Played for Grimsby from 2001 to 2004 in the Championship and League 1 then left to join Bristol R. Eventually settled in Scotland then came back and joined Chesterfield. Generally been a squad player wherever he has been.
