Give Southwell a Chance

DAYLE Southwell is a great young player who could help to get Grimsby promoted, except he always gets brought on too late in a game - we need him to come on no later than sixty minutes into the game instead of about the eightieth.

He can definitely score goals, he got the second most goals in pre-season (Liam Hearn getting the most) which if you ask me is very impressive from an eighteenth year old. There is only one problem and that is when Hearn is back fit, they will struggle to play together up front as they are both goal scorers and we need a ball winner and a goal scorer that's why Hearn and Elding worked so well together last season, because Elding was actually trying unlike this season. So if Hearn and Southwell were to play strike together they would need another player - either another striker or an attacking midfielder winning balls to play for Hearn and Southwell to score the goals.
