Grimsby v Huddersfield Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 03/01/2014

GRIMSBY are once again without several players for the next game, which is against Huddersfield in the FA Cup Third Round. Striker Lenell John-Lewis is suspended , and Clayton McDonald (arm), Scott Kerr (knee) and Sam Hatton (illness) all look like missing out on the big game.

Grimsby have tried to draft in two loan players but their clubs have rejected the moves. It is unlikely that any new player will come in time and be available to play in the cup on Saturday.

Huddersfield, managed by Paul Hurst's former team mate Mark Robins, have not got a good record at Blundell Park, but the clubs have never met with three divisions separating them before. Robins has hinted that the Terriers will play a strong side against Town, who have already knocked out two opponents from the Football League to get this far.
