Town Draw Blank Again

GRIMSBY were once again frustrated last night at their failure in front of goal after dominating the game against Nuneaton at Blundell Park. Lenell John-Lewis was once again the chief culprit, missing Town's best opening.

The Mariners were once again without half the first choice team, with Chris Doig and Jack Mackreth ruled out through injury. Nsiala came in for Doig, and Craig Clay replaced Mackreth in midfield. The bench was made up of first year pros and youth team players.

John-Lewis missed Town's best chance and Boyce hit the bar with a header, but Grimsby failed to create sufficient chances from their extra possession to win the game.

Grimsby have never beaten Nuneaton at Blundell Park.
