Lee Mullen Joins Town Board

Date: 09/06/2015

LOTTERY winner Lee Mullen has joined the Grimsby Town Board of Directors. Mr Mullen, who won almost £5 million pounds 4 years ago, provided money to help sign Gregor Robertson and Christian Jolley at the end of last season.

There are now six board members: long-standing directors John Fenty and Michael Chapman, Philip Day and Lee Mullen, plus the two Mariners Trust representatives Dave Roberts and Jon Wood.

The board will have been pleased with Season Ticket sales yesterday which exceeded £30,000, a record first day at Blundell Park. 180 season tickets were sold including 20 first time holders. All indications are that Town will have more season ticket holders this year than they have had at non-league level.

Meanwhile over 1,000 Town fans have given over £40,000 to the Operation Promotion Campaign, which the Mullens are also adding £20,000 pounds to. To make a Pledge use the widget below to access the Crowd Funding site.
