Where will Grimsby be next season?

Chester v Grimsby Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 15/09/2015

JOSH Gowling is available for Grimsby in tonight's match at Chester after completing his three match ban for the sending off at Lincoln. It's unlikely that Paul Hurst will make any other changes although Marcus Marshall is available again after recovering from his injury.

Josh Sunter (foot) and Scott Brown (ankle) are still missing from the squad, although they have begun light training so soon will be options for the manager to consider

Grimsby have had two big wins in the last two outings, meaning wholescale changes are unlikely, as they will be hoping to improve on the three draws they have obtained in the last trio of visits to the Deva Stadium.

Chester started the season brightly and were early pace setters although they have been pegged back by defeats to Tranmere and Forest Green in the last two games. Chester are expected to return to three up front to combat their recent lack of goals. Craig Hobson is expected to start alongside ex-Town striker Ross Hannah and either Ryan Higgins or Craig Mahonin in attack.

Midfielder Dale Tonge (ribs) has recovered from his injury, but ex-Southport midfielder Luke George (thigh) remains sidelined.
