Town Draw Shrews in Cup

GRIMSBY have drawn Shrewsbury at home in the FA Cup Second Round, giving Paul Hurst a chance to pit his team against Football League opposition. Shrewsbury are currently in the bottom half of League One, but the Town boss has masterminded wins over Port Vale, Scunthorpe and Northampton in the past.

The two clubs met regularly when Grimsby were last in League Two and the Mariners generally came on top at Blundell Park. The match will take place on Saturday, 5 December, 3pm KO. The winner will enter the draw for Round 3 when the big teams come into the FA Cup.
