Barrow v Grimsby Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 09/11/2015

GRIMSBY could pay the price for their FA Cup success at the weekend as strikers Omar Bogle (thigh) and Jon-Paul Pittman (ankle) are both doubtful for Tuesday night's game in Cumbria. The pair were both forced to leave the field with injuries sustained during the game with St Albans on Saturday.

Nathan Arnold, Marcus Marshall and Andy Monkhouse are all capable of playing up front, with Padraig Amond the only first team specialist striker likely to be fit.

On the plus side however captain Craig Disley should return from suspension in central midfield after his one match ban during the St Albans match.

Barrow had two players sent off in Saturday's defeat to Guiseley in the league. David Mellor and Nick Wilmer-Anderton both were given red cards so should be unavailable for the clash with the Mariners.

With the recent heavy rain it's worth checking to see the match is on before setting off to Barrow.
