TOWN'S only real injury concern ahead of the Lincoln game is winger Andy Monkhouse, who is struggling with an achilles injury. Jon-Paul Pittman is still a long term absentee with the dislocated shoulder he suffered against Shrewsbury, but the Mariners should have a fully fit squad other than that.

Lincoln, who won this fixture last year, had a setback on Saturday when they lost at home to Halifax. Town should in theory benefit from the extra rest as their games at Guiseley was postponed on Boxing Day.

The Imps have no new injuries so a similar XI to that fielded to Halifax can be expected, including ex-Town defender Bradley Wood, who now plays in midfield for CIrt. Dangerman Matt Rhead was marked out the game by the Shaymen in that clash, but Grimsby fans are fully aware of the threat the big striker poses as he netted for Lincoln in the 1-1 draw at Sincil Bank.
