Grimsby v Southport Team News

GRIMSBY need to follow up their fine win over Forest Green at the weekend with a win tonight over Southport if they are to maintain their slim chances of catching the two teams above them. The Mariners beat Southport for the first time in seven attempts earlier in the season and Town will want to repeat that success.
The Mariners have never beaten Southport at Blundell Park but they surely will have to to maintain their slim hopes of reaching the summit.
Both teams have virtually full squads to pick from. Grimsby are missing winger Marcus Marshall though illness and injury. The visitors have defender Max Cartwright available following a one match suspension.
