TOWN conceded an early goal, not for the first time this season, at Morecambe then spent much of the game stuggling to get a foothold in it. Molyneux fired through a crowd of bodies from 20 yards after just three minutes to knock the stuffing out of Town.
Town had plenty of possession but failed to create much meaningful action in front of goal. Morecambe hit the woodwork twice and has further chances to extend their lead. Town finally came into the game in its closing stanges Adi Yussuf wasted a great chance for a late equaliser.
For Tuesday's game agsinst Colchester United at Blundell Park Marcus Bignot has promised to consider a recall for Dominic Vose (thigh), one of Town's most creative players, to the side. Town have not scored regularly enough recently and have failed to create enough chances in games for large parts of the season.
