Abrahams Joins On Loan

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 21/01/2022

CARLISLE United striker Tristan Abrahams is expected to make his debut tomorrow when the Mariners take on Bromley at Blundell Park. Town's new No 9 is on loan from Brunton Park until the end of the season. Abrahams, now 23, has played mainly for Carlisle, Newport and Leyton Orient.

Abrahams has been a regular in League Two for the last four seasons with Newport and Carlisle, but has dropped down the pecking order with the Cumbrians and is looking to relaunch his career.

Meanwhile, Bromley have given permission for their manager Andy Woodman to speak to Gillingham with regard to becoming their new manager, so Town's opposition face a big distraction. The Mariners will be looking for revenge after a defeat in the midweek deluge at Bromley in September.
