Andy Todd Staying At Grimsby For Another Month!

ANDY Todd's agent confirmed today that Andy Todd, a loan defender from Charlton Athletic, will sign for another month with the Mariners shortly. Earlier today manager Paul Groves reiterated that he would be doing his best to retain Todd.

It appears that Charlton have no injury worries from last nights game against Spurs thereby making Todd available. It was feared also that Todds performances with the Mariners would bring him to the attention of other clubs and should that occur, Town could lose him.

Town fans will be delighted to hear this news as Todd has added a great deal of experience to the squad and scored three goals since he arrived including the winning header in the Wolves game on Saturday.

Todd's agent Richard Cody confirmed: "Andy is going to stay at Grimsby for another month."

"Andy is very happy at Grimsby, which anyone would be if they were man of the match every week. He likes the club, the players and the style of play, but Grimsby couldn't afford him on a permanent basis."
