Chettle Can Make Us Great

AS the new season approaches, I have a feeling that the Mighty Mariners could turn a few heads. What with Danny Coyne doing a U-turn and staying, our new signings look good.
The one that I'm looking forward to watching is Steve Chettle. Despite approaching the end of his career, Steve did a first-class job for Barnsley last season, even though they were relegated. Chettle will give us experience and will help Simon Ford develop into a quality defender.
So what we getting? A man who played at the top with Nottingham Forest. Going to Blundell Park will be a joy at the prospect of watching one of my heroes in action. His partnership with Grovesie will make us into a more solid unit than we have been in quite some time.
I have a feeling that Chettle will prove to be an inspired signing. With him on board, we could strike gold and reach the promised land of the Premiership.
Welcome aboard Steve, and do us proud.
