The Trust Sponsorship

By: GTST
Date: 13/11/2003

THE Grimsby Town Supporters Trust is sponsoring the Boxing Day game against Oldham Athletic and to fund it are having a Prize Draw. Ticket sales permitting, this should also raise much needed funds for the Trust.

The tickets cost £1 each and in the next few days, every Trust member will be getting an initial ten tickets to sell - if they sell these and want to sell more, they can contact Gill Appleyard for more books - we are hoping to encourage sales by offering a prize to the Trust member who sells the most tickets. Gill can be contacted on 07866 379107 or gill@gtst.net

The Club are assisting the trust in every way possible - the tickets are on sale in the Club Shop and from half time onwards at all home games from Saturday.

Fans who want to purchase tickets but don't live locally or can't get to games can buy them off the website at www.gtst.net A reply with the ticket numbers will be sent within 48 hours.

Prizes for the draw include:

  • Executive seats, including a pre-match meal and a tour of the ground
  • A signed Georges Santos shirt
  • Seats in the Press Box with Radio Humberside and The Grimsby Evening Telegraph with the chance to write a "match report" to appear in the paper.
  • Tickets to a Premiership Game
  • Many other great prizes

This is a great opportunity for Town fans to support their Trust.
