Kalala Watch (Part 4)

By: Tony Hamilton
Date: 06/02/2006

ON Friday DR Congo lost 4-1 to the host country Egypt, and our favourite son J P Kalala yet again was an unused substitute for the 3rd game running. The result doesn't do justice to the game as it was closer than the scoreline suggests.

So now JP Kalala will be back next week with his club mates in cold Cleethorpes and battling for his place in the team as he will help the Mariners carry on their promotion push to League 1

Here are the results to December’s Player of the Month and we hope your favourite player has won this month’s vote:

Michael Reddy 44
Ciaran Toner 27
Paul Bolland 22
Steve Mildenhall 7
Gary Cohen 5
Gary Jones 5

So our top scorer Michael Reddy has won this month’s player of the year and these votes will be put towards the final nominations later on in the season.

With the climax culminating in our award in May at the annual Player of the Year night at McMememy’s you need to carry on voting after reading the match reports on the Fishy.
