Simply The Best!

GRIMSBY town fans have the best away following out of the Lincolnshire clubs. Whereas Town have already sold over half their allocation for the Lincoln game, Boston United are struggling to sell that many tickets for their home game against Lincoln on Saturday.

Lincoln fans have taken up almost 2,000 tickets for the game against Boston but Boston are having great trouble in selling that many tickets to their own fans in what is a home game for them. Because of the Lincoln allocation going so fast, Boston are taking extra measures to prevent Imps fans from buying tickets for the Boston home stand.

Grimsby are expected to sell all their ticket allocation for the Lincoln game and the Imps fans have already reached the 4,000 sales.

With the tickets Town are buying, Lincoln will have their highest attendance figures for two years.

Excluding the local Derby's, no other Lincolnshire club take as many away tickets as the Mariners, making us the best away travellers.

What we need now is some extra effort to help fulfil the Target600 aims and get Grimsby folk behind their team at Blundell Park for the run in to the end of the season.

Increased support could be a deciding factor in the promotion race.
