Town chairman, John Fenty, has issued a rallying call to supporters. Saying there was much to be positive about in the new season at Blundell Park.
"At this stage of the season, we would be obliged if those with negativity towards the club give us all a chance, maybe reflecting on how close we were to a promotion and on who took a part in the management of that."
"Against the backdrop of rising operational costs and increasing players' wages, we have held off increasing ticket prices in the hope that the magnificent support shown towards the end of last season will be back at Blundell Park for the start of the new campaign."
Despite the departures of Rob Jones and Steve Mildenhall, the Town chief is confident that replacements of the same calibre will be brought in.
"We are confident we will be able to bring in excellent replacements," he said. "We will be pushing ahead to bring in replacements of the same standard."
