Stewart Gray1970/71-1976/77299 (1)4 goals

Stewart signed for Town from home town club Doncaster Rovers in September 1970 by player manager Bobby Kennedy and went on to make 299 first team appearances for the Mariners.

A consistent and solid central defender he started every game in the Championship winning side of 1971-72.

Consistency was Stewart's middle name throughout his time with Town being a strong tackler but also a calm distributor of the ball.

He left Town in 1977 returning to Doncaster
