We had the conference top scorer on the bench we were looking for a goal so we bring on a left back / right back / / left winger / right winger and who cant get in the team and stick him upfront to get us a goal.

Only under the management of paul feckin hurst.

In the play offs the managers ability to react to developments quickly and make astute tactical changes is crucial.

I'd say we are screwed.

I did say on another post that Hurst would not be daft enough to leave Podge out if he was not injured,

I was wrong !!!!!!!

There you are Paul lets hear you say that.

We could easily miss the play offs. Eastleigh are the form team now. Yet a couple of weeks ago we made then look poor but could not beat them. That is why it is so frustrating to see our position becoming more perilous. To think a couple of months ago we were closing in on second place. We may well have to win 2 out of 3 now.

Exactly!  we should of gone for it today, grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and took it to em! If we get in the playoffs I don't fancy our chances at all.

I just want to clear here my opinion on PH has deteriorated to the point of no repair.  Which puts me in a very strange position.  On the one hand i want us to get promoted as i feel players like Pears, Mckeown and Diz deserve for sticking with the club as well as the fans who travel in their droves to watch town but would feel a strange emotion as PH did it.  On the other hand i dont want us to so he gets sacked.

Atleast if we get up and he has a bad start i would hope JF wpuld part company.

Hey Paul, I've got a great idea for you. Why don't you coach out all the forward thinking, attack minded thoughts from the players we have and replace those who are lucky enough to leave with defenders next season? A full squad of defenders! Defend defend defend against all those incredibly dangerous non league teams full of highly talented superstars that you must be very very wary of. No defeats if you never concede a goal though and that's your dream isn't it Paul? Go on admit it, you want to be the first manager to never concede a single goal in a season! Complete sterility is your life's ambition. Oh, I've just realised.....you had the idea already!
