Stadium Committee Meets
News From 13th April 2000
The first meeting of the Stadium Joint Consultative Committee was held today at Blundell Park.
Representing the directors were Richard Lake and Bryan Huxford. Club officials were Tony Richardson and Ian Fleming. Other attendees were representatives from supporters groups and sponsors. David Peasgood represented GTISC with Rob Sedgwick representing The Fishy and Bill Osborne as an invited guest.
The meeting began with Bryan Huxford outlining the financial and strategic plans for the stadium development. The committee later began the discussions relating to services and facilities relating to supporters and sponsors requirements. It was agreed that arrangements would be made for a visit by the committee to view other new stadia to give them an overview of what other clubs have achieved.
