Question of the Week

Where will Grimsby be next season?

19/07/2000 Rant

It's a Disgrace!

I think it is a disgrace that the counsil has decided to call off the plans to build a new stadium. It is pathetic that all the people on Great Cotes are complaining, what about the people on Wybers Wood where I live, we aren't complaining so I don't see why the Great Cotes Grannies should complain! Can't they realise that they are being left behind, this is the new millenium! My friend lives in Great Cotes and all she blabbles on about is how it will bring the price of her house down by £15,000, as if!

All I can say is SAY YES TO THE STADIUM
SAY YES TO THE RETAIL PARK
SAY YES TO THE FUTURE OF GRIMSBY TOWN
& SAY NO TO THE SADDO'S OF GREAT COTES!!!!!!!

No Voter

Mayor, Coun Jane Hyldon-King seen here in a charity mood, raising money for the Mayor's charity appeal. It is a great shame that she was not as charitable to Grimsby Town Football Club when she voted against the new stadium, helping to get the planning refused.

On the 21st July 2000 Grimsby Town meet Dundee Utd., in a pre-season friendly which will draw a large crowd. The profits from the game going to the St. Andrews Children's Hospice Appeal and The Fisherman's Memorial Fund, two very deserving local causes, I wonder if she will be there?
