LATEST NEWS from Blundell Park is that Lennie Lawrence will be bringing the lads home a day early from their Swedish/Danish tour to meet Scottish 1st Division side St Mirren in a pre-season friendly at Blundell Park on Saturday 28th July at 3.00pm.

Players report back for training 9th July and will spend a few days at Lilleshall before their Swedish tour and returning to play the St Mirren fixture on the 28th plus the game against Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park.

A further announcement is expected as manager Lawrence is looking to secure another home fixture for 4th August, as part of the build up to the start of the season on August 12th.

Games against Stamford, Northwich Victoria and Louth United have also been arranged but these have been announced as more part of the reserves programme and might give fans the chance to see some of the latest young players recently signed by the club.
