MARINERS NET, the official Grimsby Town website, has now entered its monitoring period in which various aspects of its operation will be assessed. The outcome of this assessment will help determine how much money the club will receive from the FLPTV/NTL partnership.
The three areas under scrutiny are:
(1) Site traffic. We need you to visit the site as often as you can. The number of hits the site and its constituent pages receive, will all be counted and will contribute to the overall revenue the club will receive.
(2) Betting site. Usage on the club's official betting site - www.marinersbet.co.uk - will be compared with that from the other clubs under the agreement, to determine the share of revenue the club will receive. So place your tax free bets now.
(3) Fantasy Football Site. New this season is a direct link to the Daily Telegraph's Fantasy Football Competition. The ever-popular management game takes a new twist - you can now take control of a team in the Nationwide leagues. You can enter as many teams as you want - and it costs only £5 per team, or £10 if you enter three teams.
