Peter Furneaux Gives Mariners Fans A Bonus

GRIMSBY Town Chairman Peter Furneaux has given Mariners' fans a bonus with the announcement of a £5 ticket offer for the next home game.

Mariners fans fans can see Town for just £5 at the next home game. Paul Groves and the players have emphasised what a great part the crowd can, and did play, in helping the club in the fight for First Division survival, and are hoping for a bumper crowd next Tuesday night, with Stockport County.

FORMER Grimsby Town keeper Ian Turner was left cracking open the bubbly after returning to Blundell Park for the first time in 27 years on Saturday, writes Stuart Rowson of the Grimsby Telegraph.

As a guest of the Legends Bar, he wasted no time in backing the Telegraph's 'Up the Mariners' campaign for the club who gave him his chance in League football in the early 1970s.
