The Fishy - Grimsby Town FC

Question of the Week

Is football a business or a sport?

We Are Town! We Are Town!

AN amazing game today with Town drawing 0-0 with Rotherham after two Grimsby players sent off. Both deservedly according to John Tondeur but the ref was dire! He also yellow carded the Pontoon!! Or so it sounded.

In 26th minute Santos was yellow carded and 2 minutes later he retaliated to what was a bad tackle and got a straight red card.

In second half Raven got his second yellow for a bad tackle and off he went!

But even though Town were reduced to 9 men, they fought brilliantly to keep out Rotherham with Kabba getting an ovation as he was subbed by Mansaram.

Ward and Ford were both praised for their performance. Ward in particular in latter stages tried twice to get a shot in but missed.

Town were brilliant in getting a draw and the commentator heaped praise on the crowd who got behind the team and urged them on.

This fighting spirit can push Town on, and on this display they deserved to get something from the game.

Report will be on soon.
