Question of the Week

Who will win League 2?

The Final Solution!

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 20/03/2003

CAN Grimsby Town survive? That has to be the most important issue we presently face. The relegation calculator has allowed you to make your own calculations to ease your fears or increase them, based on the results you obtained.

We are inviting you to do the calculations again, giving them some thought. Paste your results on the special Message Board we will put up and, at the end of the season, whoever has made the most accurate prediction of the bottom 3 positions will win a £50 club shop voucher.

If Grimsby do not finish in the bottom 3, extra points will be awarded for an accurate forecast of Town's position and points total.

The following points will be awarded:

  • 2 points for each accurate prediction of the bottom 3 clubs positions. (possible 6 points)
  • 3 points for each accurate prediction of individual points total for bottom 3 clubs. (possible 9 points.)

  • If Town do not end up in the bottom 3, a further 2 points will be awarded for the accurate prediction of Town's position and a further 3 points for an accurate prediction of Town's points total. (a possible extra 5 points in total).

Only the correct predictions will gain points. We will not award points for next nearest.

    Those are the rules!!

But wait! There's more! (There always is) This contest will not commence until after Saturday's game and will end on the Friday following!

So you have the opportunity to suggest a change in the rules or the format of the contest. But do it now! Sunday will be the opening day and no changes can be made once the special MB is up and running.

    Good Luck with your prediction!

Go to the Relegation Calculator now and make your predictions!
