Date: 01/08/2003

GRIMSBY Town shareholders, both new and old, have been invited to an informal meeting with the club's top officials. The event, which will feature talks by the Chairman, Player-Manager, Youth Team Coach, Commercial Manager, Study Support Centre Manager and Football in the Community Officer.

The meeting takes place on Monday 4th August 2003 in the Executive Lounge at Blundell Park starting at 7pm. There is, however, a limit of 80 places for the evening with tickets issued on a first come, first served basis.

Following on from the speakers, there will be the opportunity for those present to put questions to any of the panel.

Chairman Peter Furneaux said, " The Club has been delighted with the response to the share issue and we want to give those new shareholders, and existing shareholders, the opportunity to come and listen, and then ask questions of the decision-makers at the Club."

He continued, " It is going to be very much a meeting to look forward and be positive for the future. The Club wants to work alongside it's supporters, and there are many ways in which people can be more involved, some of which they may not be aware of at present."

Tickets for the event are available from the Club Shop, priced at £2, with the proceeds from the ticket sales going to the GTFC Handicapped Supporters Club.

The Ticket Office will be open:

Friday: 9am - 5pm
Mon: 9am - 5pm.
