Question of the Week

Who will win League 2?

Gee! It's Dark In Here!

I think most people would agree that the board are doing a reasonable job and that taking their time in getting a manager is good, because we saw the results of rushing into it last time.

But what is frustrating to most fans is the lack of any news. A simple statement that 'We have targeted someone and negotiations are continuing" would do. Or even; " We have been turned down so looking elsewhere" or "nobody wants the job" whatever.

Fans are getting restless because, as predicted, players are looking for jobs elsewhere and some of them may be the ones we need to rebuild the team.

But what do they get? Complete silence from the club.

Come on Town, you can do better than that. Or do we have to find out by reading the Grimsby Telegraph and/or the Fishy to find out?

No point looking on the official site. I have enough plates, spoons, shirts and wallpaper.

One thing can be guaranteed. When the season starts, the club will be appealing to the fans to get in there and support 'your team' and the fans will. But it works both ways. It is now time for the club to support the fans and stop treating them as the proverbial mushroom. Fed on bullshit and left in the dark.

These are perilous times for the Mariners and getting one side of the team offside is not the way to the future.

But it has been this way for donkey's years why should they change now?
