The Fishy - Grimsby Town FC

Question of the Week

Is football a business or a sport?

Take It Or Leave It!

GRIMSBY Town have made offers to Darren Barnard and Stuart Campbell with what looks like non negotiable deals. Whether that indicates that the club do not mind if they move on is open to interpretation.

The Grimsby Telegraph reports that neither has yet agreed and they might be on the way out of Blundell Park if other clubs come in with a better deal.

Graham Hockless and Phil Jevons are not yet in the frame either as discussions go on.

But Russell Slade has stated that news of new signings may well come before the weekend and he has been working hard to secure the players he targeted.

Despite the fact that he needs to get a squad together to start work before the new season, he is not being rushed as players are only now returning from holidays.
