Is football a business or a sport?

IN the post match conference it was Graham Rodger who was in the hot seat and he was in no doubt that the brilliant save made by Anthony Williams probably saved the game.

"I think that save needs a massive mention. It can show you again what has been happening to us - dominating games and throwing it away."

On Orient Rodger said; "I think they've played well today. I can see what they are trying to do and I can see how hard they are working on their game plan."

".…They're no mugs!…."

I just think that we stuck to our jobs very well today, but I can see why they are doing well."

"They're no mugs. You are not up there because you are lucky - you are up there because you are a decent team."

Rodger said about Terrell Forbes; "I think as debuts go, I think he can be very, very pleased with his performance. That's our first clean sheet in three games, and I think that he is primarily the reason for that."

"With the injuries that we've had this week we haven't had a lot of time to work with the defenders, so equally more pleased with how they coped as a three"

Unhappy Ling!
Martin Ling Orient's manager saw it differently saying; "It was a lacklustre performance, he admitted. "We worked hard defensively and if we'd have seen the job through it would have ended up as a poor 0-0.

".…We didn't pass the ball!…."

"They scored from a set-play where Wayne Carlisle's lost his man and if that hadn't have happened, the second goal wouldn't have because we were committing more men forward."

"We didn't pass the ball anywhere near as well as we have been doing. Normally I can pick eight players who've had a good performance but I can only think of about three and that's never going to win you the game."

"We've been opening sides up and creating chances but we were stuttering and didn't have any tempo or purpose."
