Check Your Ticket For Scunny Game!

THE police are concerned that Town fans who did not get their tickets from the club, may have bought forged tickets which are believed to be circulating in pubs and on the internet.

The Grimsby Telegraph said today; It is possible that genuine people may have forgeries in their possession The 2,000 tickets allocated to Town fans for the trip to Glanford Park were sold within hours, and police are extremely concerned about the circulation of copies ahead of the big derby.

Grimsby's football liaison officer, Pc Alan Rutter, today said he was unsure how many forged tickets are in circulation among Mariners fans but urged anyone with suspicions about their ticket to contact police.
