Midfielder Signs

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 23/06/2005

EX Notts County player Paul Bolland has signed for the Mariners today on a two year deal. Russell Slade said yesterday he was looking to sign a midfielder and he has now got his man.

Paul joined Notts County April 1999 when Sam Allardyce signed the youngster from Bradford. He saw great potential in 'Bolly' and Paul has grown into the player he is today. He is a good professional who works extremely hard. Paul's never-say-die attitude has made him popular with the Meadow Lane faithful and managers alike.

Paul has been unlucky with injuries throughout his time at Meadow Lane, and after suffering an injury plagued season in 2001/2002, he returned to the first team the following season and showed once again that few can match his work rate and commitment to the side.

Name: Paul Bolland
Squad Number: 14
Position: Midfielder
Date Of Birth: 23rd December 1979
Birth Place: Bradford
Nationality: English
Height: 5ft 11"
Previous Clubs: Bradford City
