Slade Signs Striker

RUSSELL Slade has added another striker he was looking for with the signing of Tranmere striker Gary Jones on a 2 year deal being completed today.
Mariners Net states: Jones started out as a trainee at Tranmere before going onto make over 150 appearances for the Prenton Park first team. After a spell at Nottingham Forest Gary returned to Merseyside on loan and eventually re-signing for Rovers in 2002.
He's described as a player who can play in variety of positions, and is said to be a big and strong performer who always gives 100%.
