Palmer On Move Again?

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 14/09/2005

JERMAINE Palmer, who has just returned to Town after a loan spell at Scarborough, is training with York City with a view to a possible loan move.

Palmer played four times for Scarborough in the Conference League. York City boss McEwan said; "He did okay but he had to come on earlier than we would have liked because he's not 100 per cent match fit and he had a hard training session the day before with us. We are going to have a look at him for a few days and take it from there."

Town currently have 4 players out on loan.

  • Andy Parkinson is hoping to be fit to face Torquay on Saturday, despite missing the last fews days' training with a shin splints problem, which has been bothering Parky in recent weeks.

  • Grimsby have sold 5,500 tickets so far for the televised clash with Spurs on Tuesday and are looking like reaching a 9,000 sell-out.
