New Blood Needed!

LET us look at where Grimsby Town stand at this present moment in time. Well we are into the second week of pre-season, we have a new manager , no assistant, 13 senior pros, but we have four trialists - one of them a ex-pub player
We have been talking to players, I wonder if that is the same kind of talking we did to the whole host of potential managers we were interviewing. We have signed two new players but we have lost TEN. These are the facts and with the season fast approaching I am beginning to feel more than a little concerned.
My idea of trying to ensure you get the season off to the best possible start is to get all your players in as soon as possible so you can begin to gel the team together. This is often overlooked in favour of saving a few quid by signing players late on. All I can say to you is look at what we had last season in terms of personnel, when we failed to get promoted and compare that to what we have now.
My personal opinion is that grimsby town without some serious replacements for Woodhouse, Jones, Kalala, Goodfellow, Parkinson And Mendez will struggle at the very least with the alternative being unthinkable.
