LAST week's bets didn't come but it was a case of picking out the losers to recommend amongst the various highlighted matches!

This week Grimsby have an awesome task in front of the cameras at Walsall. However, Grimsby do have two things to their advantage. They have already beaten Walsall this season (how many teams can say that?) and we always seem to step up a gear when Grimsby are on TV (cynics might add especially during the transfer window!). However bet365.com's price of 9/2 for an away win is not high enough to tempt. Walsall will probably win, but 4/7 is for odds-on backers only! Alternatively bet365.com offer 3/1 for Walsall to win both halves, i.e. scoring more goals than Grimsby in each half. I'm sure the bookies have worked out the stats on this but it does look a good price for a side who are 4/7 to win the whole game.
Elsewhere in League Two the Bookies have foolishly made Macclesfield favourites to lose away at Barnet! Maybe their computer has taken too much notice of the recent drubbing at Chelsea in the FA Cup, but Paul Ince's boys are great value with Totesport at 9/4 to win at the North London side, who have admittedly won their last three home games.
