LAST week was unfortunate as Bury's late equaliser in injury time at the Racecourse denied the Welshmen a much-needed win, but more importantly another winner for Beat the Bookies!

This weekend Grimsby host Swindon and the bookies are unable to separate the sides, who are both ranked at 6/4 to win. Town are on a roll at the moment but Swindon are tougher opposition than the Mariners have faced recently and it would seem the bookies have got their odds about right and that the game will be close.
Town's match is one of many in League Two this week which look too close to call on paper. These matches are generally the ones to shy away from as they are the most difficult to predict and the odds for all three outcomes are low.
However, one match stands out which is not in this category - the basement battle of Accrington v Torquay. The Gulls raised a few eyebrows last week when they trounced Wycombe 3-0 at Plainmoor, and this week they head to Accrington who are having a miserable time of late. Torquay must win to avoid oblivion, and I think they will against a Stanley side who have got 2 points from the last 6 games. The bookies however don't think Torquay will win, and offer a tempting 12/5 for the Devon side to triumph. Last week's 3 points could well signal the beginning of a late charge from Torquay, who needed snookers last year to avoid relegation and got them!
