TheFishy.co.uk/BAWC Joint Statement

AFTER much discussion over the past few days TheFishy.co.uk and The Black and White Corner Fanzine are delighted to announce a new partnership that will allow us as one to create a new 'super site' for Mariners fans over the world to enjoy.
After a suggestion on the message board early this week - and with former Fishy co-editor Bill Osborne deciding to stay on at the Grimsby page of the Rivals network - TheFishy.co.uk editor Rob Sedgwick and BAWC editor Jake Olley set about discussions to pool their resources and allow both organisations to excel.
Black and White Corner’s online web production will now move to be a new part of TheFishy.co.uk, with the fanzine enhancing the existing features on the site. Several BAWC columnists will contribute weekly columns and other pieces to the new part of the site.
The BAWC section of thefishy.co.uk site will also play host to BAWC Radio (to be launched again in January), a BAWC fanzine archive, a BAWC Online Shop and several other ideas currently be discussed and implemented once the foundations of the site are completed.
We hope this will be the start of a long working relationships between the two organisations and encourage anybody wanting to become involved with the new site to contact us.
This site is by the fans, for the fans, and we will consider articles on any subject relating to the Mariners whether it be related to current news, a nostalgic look back in the past, a story about a player, a game or games in the past, something about Blundell Park or football in general.
