More Friendlies Arranged

TOWN have arranged a couple more friendlies which you may want to add to your diaries in this barren summer.

The Mariners have agreed two new fixtures with non-league opposition:

  • Corby Town Away 16th July KO 7:30 pm
  • Mansfield Town Away 25th July KO 7:30 pm

Interestingly enough we last time we played Mansfield Town in a pre-season friendly we were promoted that season.

Mansfield of course have Grimsby target Mick Boulding in their squad, but the former Mariner is likely to have found another club by the 25th July. Could it be the Mariners?

Corby in Northamptonshire is located just south of Peterborough.

The Mariners have also agreed in principle to play FA Cup semi-finalists Barnsley but a date has yet to be set.
